I recently failed my Summer Test, which was expected. Upon reflecting on my results, i realised how i let time fly by. I played too much and often surfed the net while studying (yes, its a very inffective way of studying). The studying methods i had adopted were also inefficient.

Bad days dont last long, at least for me. I got over the trauma of my results and decided to change myself and ACHIEVE for my goal of getting admitted into Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). To achieve this goal of mine, i have started stuying harder (at least 4 hours everyday, not including school). I made a timetable that i try to follow strictly. I have also changed my studying methods from memorising facts to understanding the concepts behind facts.  I hope all this will help me achieve good results so that i can pursue my goal.

One important lesson i learnt from this experience is that:

Time flies by very fast and there is no way one can revert it. Once it’s gone, it’s gone forever. Utilize this time, even every second counts, for these seconds add up to minutes, and these minutes add up to hours. And what have i done to these seconds? I’ve wasted them, i’ve wasted several hours of precious time that i could have used to expand my knowledge.
